which represent “Illusions” I was
trying to remind people to be

US attorney generals conference
on abuse. Signed posters were

Each girl is standing in front of circles
that show symbols of each tribe.
“ We all have different beliefs, but are
all wrapped in the same Human Being
blanket.” The hands at the bottom
represent different races.

Description:
The dress is a ghost dress and
was worn during ceremony. The
Ghost Dance was one of the last
efforts to regain what the native
people had lost. The girl in the
painting is looking forward, but
there are shadows.
I created this painting to remind
people that there is always good
with the bad. A balance in our life
path.

Description:
My grandfather was an artist and
used to sit at the kitchen table and
draw each one of his grandchildren
a horse.
I created this painting to honor his
time with me and showing me how
to draw horses. I remembered every
line of graphite as I recreated his
drawings of horses in the background.
The three dots in the left corner are
my reality buttons to pull me back
to the present.
